Synopsis

A giant robot dinosaur menaces New York City. Despite their best efforts, the US Army are powerless to stop it. Strangely, the mechanical monster seems focused solely on the Metal Men, and their inventor, Doctor Will Magnus. After a brief spat with Mercury, and, once again, feeling spurned by Magnus, Platinum attempts to sacrifice herself, to buy the team time to get away. Magnus orders Lead to rescue Platinum. Tin leapt to shield the team from the creature's attack, but proved too feeble to offer much of a deterrent. Iron and Lead prepared to attack, but Platinum stopped them. Chastising the men for always being so quick to resort to violence, Platinum, instead, led the dinosaur into the kitchen, and fed it pots and pans. For long moments the creature seemed docile enough, until...
